Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is a mentoring ministry for future men, providing Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment. Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.
Royal Rangers provides age-specific learning for boys in grades K – 12. We need leaders at Old River Assembly of God to fill all the different age groups. Our desire it is to have 2 fully trained staff in each group. If you are interested, please see Commander Frank. Training is provided throughout the district.
At Old River A/G, we currently only run the following groups due to staffing.
Ranger Kids (K-2nd grade) –
We do not currently have a Ranger Kids leader. This is an ideal age group for a couple.
Discover Rangers (3rd – 5th grade)
meet weekly on Wednesday Nights @ 7 PM. with Commander Frank. We do not meet on the first Wednesday of the month, so staff can have service time and the boys can have blended services with the adults in the main sanctuary.
Adventure (6th – 8th grade) & Expeditions Rangers (9th – 12th grade):
Weekly Outpost Meetings are Sunday Night @ 6 PM in the fellowship hall. Leader: Commander Frank Frazar. Please confirm with Commander Frank, as the meeting schedule is flexible.
Royal Rangers seeks to accomplish our mission through the use of our seven methods:
1. Friendship
2. Activities
3. A Defined Discipleship Process
4. Guy-specific Small Groups
5. Interactive Learning
6. Group Identity
7. Service & Ministry Outreach
